On Friday March 2nd, The National Education Association’s “Read Across America Day” is celebrating their 10th Anniversary. This began as a one day celebration of Dr. Seuss’s birthday and has become a popular way to involve our children with reading.

This year also marks the 50th anniversary of “The Cat in the Hat”! So start making your red and white hats now (your children will certainly want them!) and check out the NEA website. It is full of resources, activities, book ideas, and links on ways to celebrate this day! Have Fun!
