This is where I can really get on my soapbox, but I will be just and leave the judgement to you…
If you are giving your child prescription drugs for behavior issues, or having been considering it, please do your research.

Am I not a doctor, but I do have strong opinions about the matter. Here are some books that I have found useful in making the important decision of medicating a child:

• “Should You Medicate Your Child’s Mind” By Elizabeth Roberts
• “Straight Talk About Psychiatric Medications For Kids” By Timothy E. Wilens
• “Should I Medicate My Child?” By Lawrence Diller

If you are considering this option, please ask questions, read, and ask other parents and teachers before giving children any prescribed pills for behavior related issues.
